Ignorance and foulness breeds the same, place is ran by slobs... Disgusting staff. With the exception of the friendly cooks, and one or two bartenders who act professionally. For the most part they're rude n' snotty. Either don't allow smoking, or how about emptying the ashtrays once in a while, it's bad enough people have to walk around and find one... Also, probably a good idea to hire some mature adults, rather than a few self-righteous and over-weight bimbos with their junk hanging-out. Their attitudes, even when they make mistakes and you kiss their asses, they still act like it's your fault they don't know how to mix an expensive drink. Hell, while I'm at it, why not toss some of your regular FELONS? You know... like the guy last night who grabbed a woman's breast and got knocked down... Can't believe he hid behind THREE FEMALES while the other guy (yes me lol) was tossed for simply stopping somebody who's probably a sex-offender. Nice operation you got going there. ;-) Oh... Another thing, then I'll let you get back to your other job that keeps the place afloat... That 40 mile wide n' sticky bar was a ridiculous idea... You did that cause YOU liked it, but it's an impractical germ-farm.
Amnesia is somewhere that people struggle to get their head around. They think of the bar being smoky and can't bring themselves to eat there. That's a mistake. Everything that I have had there has been great. Wings? Huge and tasty. Quesadilla? You've never had one like this. The burger? Read on....
Fun Place, love to go here. My only complaint is that my husband kicks my ass in pool on the regular. It has to be the bars fault, right? Lol
Love the food, atmosphere, and the ladies behind the bar. Service is great. Nice people. BUT.................just kidding.
The Amnesia burger itself is flame cooked and then finished on the flat top. This does two things. It seals in the flavor and juices and then it allows them to melt the cheese properly on the burger by steaming it on the top. It looks like they season it with some sort of Adobo spice as well, although I couldn't make out what it was exactly.
The burger is phenomenal. It was probably the tastiest of all the burgers that I tried. The bun is the right size for the burger and compliments it well. It's just a plain bun but it holds up well. Could they use a better bun? Yes, but this works just fine.
I had the bacon cheeseburger and the cheese is perfectly melted. The bacon is chopped, almost like bacon bits and the lettuce, tomato and onion are all good as well. I prefer my bacon whole in strips but it doesn't detract from the taste. All in all this is probably the best bar burger that I have had anywhere, maybe even the best burger full stop. I get it to take out now as my wife is pregnant so, if you don't want to eat in a smoking establishment, try a takeout. I ate the burger in Mill Valley, CA that Tyler Florence said was the best he ever ate. This, in my opinion, is much tastier.
I have been coming here for yrs. The food is good the girls are ok as well nice decent place. And chyann is the best!!! Hands down...
