STAY AWAY. I came to this bar while in town visiting family for the holiday. The bar was filthy and dingy. I came with 3 girl friends ages 26-30 showed my ID at the door and came in. About 30 seconds later an extremely intoxicated man with no name tag or uniform slurring his words came up trying to hit on my friends and I outside of the filthy restroom. We denied his advances and he decided to demand IDs after they were just checked then identified himself in slurred words as “Dave the owner of Jerseys” . We showed our IDs again. He continued to harass us and his tone became more and more aggressive and hostile. As he was slurring his words and bumped my 25 year old female friend shoulder with his chest while in her face seemingly initiating a physical altercation with her. We swiftly moved to leave this establishment. He followed us out screaming and pushing us as if we did something wrong. It took 5 guys to hold him and his female accomplice back from following us to our vehicle for an altercation. We were very confused and uncomfortable by all of this. After a little research I am from the first to have had an experience like this at Jerseys. Their has been a lot of brutal crime at this establishment as well regular drug use by both employees and regulars openly in this bar. Stay safe and try a better safer local bar.
The folks are very friendly. I've not tried the food, but those that have, say it's very good. I guess, my major disappointment is, they can never seem to agree on the price of my drink. First time, $4.50, next time $5.25, most recently $6.00. Needless to say, at $6.00, the sing8ng mommies should be dancing on the bar.
A truly friendly pub. The bartender and server introduced themselves right away when they saw i was a new patron. Six o'clock and the place was full. Lots of TVs with something different on. The chicken wings were good, Thursday is 50 cent wing night. It is an adult crowd and smoking is allowed, so if you want to get away from childish nonsense in other places, this is it. There is nothing fancy about this place, its come as you are and thats just fine.
Good wings! Basic bar food. Very cold draft beer. Great local hangout. Plenty of tv's for sports just no karaoke or live entertainment
Owner snd staff are super sweet amd funny. Feels like NY.
