As a parent of students that are attending and have graduated from BMCHS, let the records speak for themselves. Look at the number of graduates going on to college as well as the number of scholarships awarded to the graduates. That should speak volumes about the academics, teachers, and the curriculum at the school. Is the school perfect in everything? - No! But what school is! Bishop McLaughlin H.S. provides a safe, disciplined, and structured environment design to nurture both the physical and educational growth of their students. Again, look at the numbers and the Universities its graduates go on too. Students are not just a number; the teachers know the students by name and take an interest in their development if the student is willing.

I went there for two years and those two years were terrible. Most of the teachers were very unprofessional to a point where one actually cried in our class. The teaching and curriculum was terrible, the kids were terrible. If you want a bunch of white snobby rich kids addicted to drugs and get whatever they want, this school is for you. When I moved to public school, the teaching was so much better and challenging. Going to this school will be a big mistake that will affect your child, your relationship with your child, and your family. $15,000 a year is not worth it. Put your child in a public school, save 15 grand, educate your child, and keep them away from children like the one's that go to this so called "school". The principle never even attended school and always seemed to be absent until senior graduation. It's a small school with few students, which makes it a bad place. If your kid is not perfect or extremely rich, they will most likely be picked on. Whereas in public schools, there are so many kids, no one tends to pick on others. THINK AGAIN BEFORE ENROLLING YOUR KID IN THIS SCHOOL.

I don't know how long ago your experience was, but that is not the Bishop McLaughlin that I have experienced- graduation (100%) and college acceptance rates (95%) way above the state average (78% grad for public schools). High AP, SAT, and ACT scores, innovative STREAM program that just won NCEA national award for innovation in technology education. 1:1 computers for the students, and ranked #7 in the state for Catholic high schools. Good sports programs, too. The BMCHS Baseball team just went to the state semi-finals. Oh and the tuition is not 15k, either. It starts at 12,500 and is on a sliding scale. The lowest tier is only $7500 which is less than some private elementary schools. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
